Welcome to Woodside u3a
Woodside u3a is a self help organisation devoted to lifelong learning and enjoyment and is specifically for people who are no longer in full time paid employment.
The Woodside u3a, formed in Nov. 2016, covers the areas around Woodside, Watford.
It has many study and activity groups, all run for and by the members; a list of these can be found on the Groups page of this website. There are also outings open to all members as well as outings run by specific groups.
Monthly meetings are held at The Stanborough Centre. Time: 9:30 am for 10:00 am start. We look forward to seeing you there. They are held on the third Tuesday of each month. All Woodside u3a members are welcome to these meetings. Speakers come from a variety of walks of life e.g.. authors, commentators, experts in a variety of fields etc. In addition to speakers the meeting are on occasions entertained by members of the Drama and Singing Groups. The meeting is also a good time to chat with other u3a members over tea and biscuits and find out about Study Groups and outings.
Currently our annual fee is £25 per person, or £12.50 if you are receiving Income Support or Pension Credit.
